This looks to be the final nice fall weekend of the year, though I could be mistaken: We sometimes get a November surprise. But the weather dudes are calling for a chance of snow by next Saturday, so I think our too brief Autumn will soon be gone.

I’m usually pretty busy this time of year and miss the chance to get out and enjoy the colors. But today I got myself in gear, grabbed the camera and went on a morning search for fall colors and donuts before the wind blows them away. The colors, not the donuts.

It was a quick trip, but I successfully located some bright colors and enormous apple fritters.
